Sold from my personal collection! I’m trying to get down the number of watches I have so this one is up for sale. Completely original fully serviced from June 66. Of all the known MAC-V SOG variants this one I consider to be the best. Best case, best dial, best handset, and the most overlapping history in Vietnam. There were relatively few of these were produced. A lot of them were either beaten to death or did not survive. It’s rare to see one this original and clean. The lume is all original, but has some patina marks on some of the numbers on the left side (look at pictures). Otherwise dial and hands are excellent. Case is excellent with no pitting or corrosion of any kind. Unlike others that I have seen for sale online, this example does not suffer from edge cracks on the caseback, something many people don’t realize is an issue with these early snap on casebacks. Movement is excellent and was fully serviced a few months ago. It comes on the Spidel stretchy band, which the watch came with. The band is entirely clean and I am including it because that’s what it was on when I got it. Highly accurate and extremely reliable, the 6619 movements are underrated.
