A recently acquired and restored 7A moonphase. The 7A movements were the very first analog quartz chronograph in the world. Seiko invented them. This particular model was designed to cloak this brand-new tech with the familiar aesthetic of old-fashioned nautical timepieces with a porcelain dial, gold highlights, a moonphase complication with added date hand.
