This is a Seiko 6138-0030 JDM Kakume consignment piece.

• November 1973 - heart of Seiko’s golden age

• 6138B movement fully serviced and restored.

• New mainspring installed

• Hands / dial are extremely nice and entirely original

• Excellent white lume on the dial and hands

• Handset is the nice arrow-tip style; my personal favorite

• Watch lived a working life - case has some minor marks, dings, and scratches on the sides and top, and on the crown.

• Case finish is in excellent original and unpolished condition.

• Case rebuilt with all new seals

• Case in original condition inside and out. No corrosion, pitting. All sealing surfaces intact.

• Insert shows wear much like the case top and sides - pecks, dings, scratches - and just a hint of ghosting around the edge of the insert.

• All chrono features work as they should.

• Chrono hands have evenly faded down to the custard yellow that the original Seiko orange becomes. No damage to the hands, only the fading.
