I bought this watch from the original owner several years ago. It was given to him as a wedding gift by his future wife while he was on leave in Tokyo from his service in Vietnam. He did not wear it much and several years ago decided that they wanted to do something else so they sold it to me.

The watch is all original, including the lume. It has the correct early sweep stop light pip and is unfaded. I did replace the original crystal with one of ours. Dial and hands are excellent, as is the dial surface and applied text. Clean and clear. Unusually for one of these, the rotating turns smoothly with consistent click strength. They’ve got a finicky setup.

I fully serviced this watch. It’s a 6159A movement and very low hours to begin with. The case has been completely rebuilt and has all new seals. All case finishes are original. It’s a really sweet ready to wear early piece of the much less often seen 7000s.
