This is a piece I’ve had for many years. Someone did a real number on the movement (and the case but nothing deadly there), but the beautifully patinated lume demanded a solution. Rather than just put another 7002 movement in, since the watch was destined for my own watch box, I decided to have fun and solve a problem at the same time. I figured out how to fit a 7002 date wheel on a 6R15C movement, which as far as I know hasn’t been done before.

• Beautiful original lume on the dial, hands, and insert. Really nice patina and character.

• Fully serviced 6R15C movement, which I modified to work with the 7002 datewheel.

• NOS crystal installed

• Case fully cleaned

• All new seals

• Signs of wear, and also signs of the previous owner who did superficial damage to one part of the edge of the caseback, and the case. Both are visual only; no functional issues around the caseback gasket.

• All functions work exactly as they should, as the movement was serviced by me this past week.

• Hacks, hand-winds, timed & adjusted.

• No box / papers

• Head only.
