This is an all-original example of the ‘Jumbo’, called the “Petrol”. It is famed for its distinct, shifting petrol blue/green dial and oversized 40mm stainless steel case. This one is on its original bracelet sized for up to 7.5” easily.

• 6138a 21j movement is fully serviced, and upgraded with an upper mainspring arbor jewel, bringing the jewel count to 22.

• Chronograph hands all work as they should, and reset correctly. Reset is light to help protect the chronograph wheel.

• All lume is original and in good condition. There is some patination to the minute hand but overall presents well.

• There is a dial mark on the minute-counting subdial on the :28 marker - see photos and video

• Case is in original polish, with signs of wear and some polish on high case edges, but no abuse. Vertical brushing on side case edges is still present with some wear. There are two tool marks on the caseback.

• Case rebuilt with all new seals.

• Original solid stainless steel bracelet is sized for 7.5” with a bit to spare.

• Crystal is NOS genuine Seiko - a rare piece to find anymore.

• Case is 40mm side-to-side.
