Seiko 6105-8110 from July 1974
Seiko 6105-8110 from July 1974
This 6105-8110 from July 1974 is the classic Apocalypse Now diver, the iconic “Willard”. All of the lume and finish are original. The lume has minor signs of damage, see photos for reference. The rest of the dial is perfect and original, including the frosted surface on markers. The hands, dial, movement, and insert are all original to each other. Case and caseback are also original. The movement has been fully and freshly restored. Upgraded with both upper and lower mainspring arbor jewels. It has a new KVW Type II Hardlex crystal. The original crown and stem were rebuilt with new gaskets and the crown locks as it should. It hacks and is running excellently. The clickball clicks and is still crimped into the case. The pip is aligned to 12. The original winding bridge was a 6105B and was damaged so I replaced it with an NOS 6106C winding bridge. They are identical in every way except for the text. It shows some wear and has a lovely semi-ghosted Daini bezel. Six months warranty assuming normal use. Original damaged winding bridge will be sent with the watch if the customer would like it.
