This is a complete and original Rolex 16573, made in 1979/80 (64xxxxx serial).

• Movement serviced and is accurate & strong.

• Hacks as it should

• Date quickset works as it should

• Original dial with a few spots of tropicalization here and there around some markers.

• Dial lume is original, shows some patina.

• Handset is immaculate and looks to be an older service handset. It glows at the same rate as the dial, maybe a titch more, but neither the dial or the hands glow as strongly or for as long as my 16610. EDIT: I am including an original set of hands with darker toned lume, see photol!

• Case has been polished but still is nice and beefy

• All new seals, case and bracelet are fully cleaned and shiny

• Original crystal has some marks on it, minor handling ones, swirlies etc.

• Bracelet is full-length and more. This the JB Champion-made oval-link with 14k center links. These were fitted to some watches in this time period by Rolex to get around importation taxes / tariffs on complete watches. So they contracted with several companies to make bracelets in the destination country. These JB Champion bracelets are less common. This bracelet has some stretch and wear but is very usable and presentable

• Comes with inner and outer Rolex box, I’m not sure of the period. Inner box is wood.

• I am now including a second handset with toned lume!
