This is a Seiko 6119-8460 “Gene Kranz”. that I recently restored. This was a one-owner watch, and he took good care of it. Dial and hands are immaculate, with perfect white lume, not even slightly patina’d down at all. Exquisite dial surface.

This model is called the “Gene Kranz” after the famous NASA individual who ran Mission Control through NASA’s golden age, most notably the Apollo program. He wore this model watch for pretty much his entire working life. His was auctioned off recently. Like his, this one has a pretty worn bezel insert - that’s really the only condition issue of note. Also, his was “proof” marked; this one is “resist”.

While this model did come on a bracelet, this one didn’t have it. I could provide a Speidel type expansion band, the so-called OMB (old man band) if you wanted.
